Private Colleges Serving Tennessee

Top Undergraduate Majors of 2012-13 Graduates
of TICUA Member Institutions

It may surprise many that Tennessee’s private nonprofit colleges and universities award more undergraduate degrees (Associate's and Bachelor's) in health related and business fields than in education or the arts. But, TICUA members offer rigorous programs in the humanities and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields as well.

Whether studying health care or education, business or the arts, students at independent colleges are exposed to a variety of ideas and are challenged to hone basic skills in critical thinking and communication.
