Students at Tennessee's private colleges and universities are able to earn a high quality bachelor's degree quickly. Finishing faster helps students at private institutions avoid extra years of tuition and begin their careers earlier.

Although Tennessee's independent colleges enroll 24% of all students in the State, they award 33% of all degrees.
TICUA member institutions award more than 17,000 degrees annually - more than any other sector in the State.
4-, 5-, and 6-Year Graduation Rates
Forty-eight percent of students at one of Tennessee's private colleges or universities complete a degree in 4 years or less, while only 47% of students at the State's four-year institutions complete a degree in 6 years or less.
