universities had an economic impact estimated at
more than $8.1 billion. |

TICUA institutions have been nationally recognized
for their student volunteer programs. In 2011, nine
institutions were named to the U.S. President's
Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. |

TICUA member campuses serve as one of the State's
largest employers, employing more than 30,000
faculty and staff. In addition, their external
activities sustain an additional 301,000 jobs in
local communities. |
