Distribution of TICUA Lottery Recipients by County

In 2010-11, the Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarship (TELS) assisted over 14,000 students attending TICUA member institutions. Of that total, 22% of students also earned a supplemental ASPIRE award based on financial need and 12% received the General Assembly Merit Scholarship (GAMS). Students from every county in the State except Clay County received a TELS award to attend a Tennessee private college or university.
