TICUA members will have access to BidBridge’s reverse auction services and reap the benefit of bidding out certain goods or services frequently purchased. BidBridge provides fully managed eAuction services through competitive sourcing and reverse auction procurement systems, assisting colleges and universities in achieving true-market value for goods and services. They have customers in 29 states and on average have provided those customers 14% average net savings. With their 92% award rate, they work with each campus to carefully craft the specifications to ensure clarity and vendor/buyer satisfaction. There is no direct cost to the college or university and no hardware or software installation needed. Finally, the transparency of the bidding system provides audit trails for you to have.
Common opportunities for reverse auction include: construction and remodeling projects, IT equipment, lab equipment, athletic equipment, text books, uniforms, chemicals, fuel, materials used in building, janitorial supplies, paper, emergency generators, and vehicles.
