Adden Furniture, an industry-leading manufacturer of high quality furniture and seating made of sustainable materials, is now a TICUA preferred vendor. Adden Furniture is manufactured in North Carolina and is the originator of the “Roommate” residence hall furniture concept, the standard in living learning, health and healing applications.   The company also prides itself on being environmentally responsible.

Adden offers a wide array of furniture types and can provide residence hall furniture, lounge seating (fully upholstered and wood frame), everywhere chairs, and anywhere tables. The furniture is made out of solid, northern grown hardwoods from certified forests. The UV cured flat-line finish has the highest cross-linking density for any type of finish in the furniture industry. Adden Furniture guarantees their furniture against structural failure under normal indoor use for a period of 10 years. Fabric, foam and sleep bed mechanisms are guaranteed for one year from the date of delivery. Mattresses carry the 5 year declining warranty of the manufacturer. Drawer slides carry a lifetime warranty.

TICUA institutions will be provided with a discount from effective list pricing (no minimum) and actual freight charges based upon actual project volume and zip code.

TICUA consolidates the purchasing power of our 34 private, not-for-profit campuses in Tennessee to provide TICUA members the option of purchasing select products at a discount. To defray administrative costs, TICUA in some cases, may receive a modest amount under agreements made with the companies in the TICUA procurement program.
