Identity Theft Loss Prevention, LLC (IDTLP) is offering TICUA members a significant discount on their iCAP program targeted to assist colleges and universities with compliance issues related to Red Flag program, FERPA, GLB, and other privacy, security and usage laws.

Identity Theft Loss Protection LLC staff are experienced in working with higher education institutions and have their Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist credentials. This means that with their service you receive informed, institutionally specific information regarding potential vulnerabilities. Unlike other risk management companies, Identify Theft Loss Protection LLC does not simply focus on IT. In fact, they do not try to hack into your network or attempt other types of cyber, technology-related crimes. Their information Compliance and Awareness Process (iCAP) focuses on where the majority of identity thefts take place—with people.

The iCAP program includes a two-day visit to your campus by certified IDTLP staff to accomplish the following:

• Test the campus environment to identity potential areas of risk
• Meet with senior-level staff to reveal findings (departments & Cabinet-level)
• Creation of a customized identity theft prevention program for your campus
• Provide detailed training materials for you to train campus employees

IDTLP is a program offered to TICUA members through our partnership with The Coalition for College Cost Savings.

TICUA consolidates the purchasing power of our 34 private, not-for-profit campuses in Tennessee to provide TICUA members the option of purchasing select products at a discount. To defray administrative costs, TICUA in some cases, may receive a modest amount under agreements made with the companies in the TICUA procurement program.
