Genworth with AffinityLTC and Got LTCi
As you may know Long-Term Care Insurance is a growing interest for employees. The top two buying reasons for employees are to not be a burden on their children and to protect assets and independence as they enter their retirement years. Anyone who has dealt with an aging parent knows that traditional health insurance, social security, retirement income and other government programs simply do not fill the financial gaps created when in-home care, assisted-living, or nursing-home care is needed. Employees are also buying LTC insurance because they understand it can be needed at any age due to an accident or debilitating condition such as a stroke, brain tumor, early Parkinson's disease, etc. In fact, 51% of LTC insurance policies today are purchased at work.*
Among other benefits, the TICUA LTCi program is designed to give each TICUA member access to premium discounts and generous group-based underwriting concessions. We have chosen to work with AffinityLTC, GOT LTCi and Genworth as they have adapted their employer LTCi offerings to suit the varied needs of our member organization. Got LTCi handles the entire employee education process, including group meetings and personal consultations, to ensure that all employees have a thorough understanding of the importance to plan for long-term care.
