TICUA Go Green! Project Compliance Training

To assist all our member institutions in their environmental compliance work, TICUA has partnered with HRP Associates Inc. to provide in-depth training on RCRA hazardous waste management, DOT hazardous materials management and SPCC rule training.

WHEN?

Identical training events will occur on the following dates and locations:

May 28-29, 2008 ~ Hosted by Fisk University (Middle TN) - Cancelled

June 11-12, 2008 ~ Hosted by Carson-Newman College (East TN)

June 25-26, 2008 ~ Hosted by Lambuth University (West TN)

Participants may choose to attend any of the training events—not just the one in your region.  A minimum of 17 participants must register for the regional training event to be held.  If for some reason one of the training events does not garner enough interest, we will invite those that have registered to attend one of the remaining training events.

Additionally, the courses are offered separately, so trainees can register to attend only the course that he/she needs.

COST?

* If participating in both Day 1 seminars and/or Day 2, a $15.00 charge will be added to your registration for each full day to cover snack/lunch.

SPCC Rule Training ~ 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Day 1 Afternoon

Registration/Gathering ~ 12:45 p.m.

RCRA Hazardous Waste ~1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Day 2

Registration/Gathering ~ 8:00 a.m.

DOT Hazardous Materials ~ 8:30 a.m.—3:30 p.m.
