Trevecca Nazarene University is a Christian university in the heart of Nashville. Founded in 1901, Trevecca is committed to holistic education, encouraging students to grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Located approximately one mile from thriving downtown Nashville, Trevecca provides a liberal arts education that prepares students for lives of service and leadership. Trevecca offers associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in more than 80 academic programs, including majors in ministry, education, communication, biology/pre-med, music business, worship arts, journalism, film and media arts, and more. Students can expect internships with industry professionals, research opportunities, community service opportunities, as well as opportunities to study and serve abroad. Trevecca also offers six certificate programs and doctoral degrees in education and counseling. Trevecca’s athletic teams compete at the NCAA Division II level, and Trevecca is a member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
