Southern Adventist University encourages students to balance intellectual development with service to humanity and a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. The 1,000-acre campus is located just east of Chattanooga, along the forested slopes of White Oak Mountain. Biology, business, journalism, nursing, art, and religion are popular choices of study, and many students prepare to teach.
