King University is a Presbyterian, doctoral-level comprehensive university. Founded
in 1867 as King College, the University offers more than 90 majors, minors, preprofessional
degrees, and concentrations in fields such as business, nursing, law,
medical and health sciences, pharmacy, education, and humanities. A number
of research and off-campus learning opportunities and travel destinations also
are available. King offers programs specifically designed with the adult learner in
mind through King’s Graduate, Professional, and Online Studies Programs, which
are offered at 14 locations across Virginia and Tennessee, including online degree
options. King University is a NCAA Division II and a Conference Carolinas member
with 25 varsity athletic teams. For the 27th consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report
has recognized King as a Best Regional University. The Princeton Review named King
one of the Best Colleges in the Southeast for a 13th consecutive year. King has been
selected by G.I. Jobs for the eighth straight year as a Military Friendly School.
