King University is a private Presbyterian-affiliated, doctoral-level comprehensive Liberal Arts university. Founded in 1867 as King College, the University offers more than 90 majors, minors, pre-professional degrees, and concentrations in fields such as business, nursing, law, medical and health sciences, pharmacy, education, and humanities. A number of research and off-campus learning opportunities and travel destinations also are available. King offers programs specifically designed with the adult learner in mind through King’s Graduate & Professional Studies Programs, which are offered at 13 locations across Virginia and Tennessee, including online degree options. King University is a NCAA Division II and a Conference Carolinas member with 25 varsity athletic teams. For the 28th consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has recognized King as a Best Regional University. The Princeton Review named King one of the Best Colleges in the Southeast for a 14th consecutive year. King has been selected by G.I. Jobs for the eighth straight year as a Military Friendly School.
